Eucharist (First Communion)
In memory of the night before he died, gathered with his Apostles, Christ celebrated the Last Supper to give us the treasured gift of his Body and Blood. Through the Sacrament of the Eucharist we are one with him, remembering his sacrifice for us and promise of salvation…”Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink." (John 6:54-55)
Celebration of First Communion
Children begin First Holy Communion preparation in 1st Grade, and receive the Sacrament in the Spring of the 2nd Grade. However, older children are always welcome to begin preparation.
